Description

A piece I did for my bruv gorga on request.

Besever - Undead arch-necromancer, Fiendish. True form unknown, but he’s been seen to look completely like a normal human one second, then change to something more hideous and necrotic the next. Age unknown. The notorious necromancer is rumored to have a secret lair someplace deep in Desym Boj.

Secret History: Formerly Benjamin Severin, was an early émigré from Earth to Keta around 2460. A member of I.M.P. and xeno-archaologist by trade, he explored the ruins on Keta for many decades. He was instrumental, alongside Khaeron Zanthrax, in gaining a foothold for an I.M.P. (Interplanetary Magus Pact) presence at the Magus Guild in the ancient city of Ixthazod, north of YeBocha. As his interest and mastery of the magick arts, especially in the darker corners of sorcery grew, he attracted the interest of a primordial, unnamed evil. As the story (that very few know) goes; around 2510, while he and his team were unearthing artifacts in BheriKros, this unspeakable entity consumed Benjamin and then spat Besever out. He is now fully undead, and has the ability to possess any undead he encounters. In his quests for further power, his body has been destroyed several times, but he keeps transplanting himself into other undead bodies. He's even been seen to inhabit a swarm of undead insects on several occasions. He's considered to be Guru level or higher in the following magickal schools, and able to cast every spell within them: Earth, Fire, Water, Shadow, Astral, Temporal, Chaos, Infernal. He's been spotted in places all across Keta, but most often the Desym Boj (catacombs) beneath YeBocha, or in the ruins of BheriKros inland to the east.
